Can o' Comfort

I'm planning on trying out some impressive recipes and blogging all about them in order to show off my amazingess.   I thought that my first showcase recipe should be my go-to comfort meal: Tuna Casserole

This recipe comes from the Betty Crocker Cookbook.  No need to buy it, just swipe if from your parents next time you're home.  If their copy is in poor condition from years of use, just do what I did-- make tons of hints about how you would love to make dinner if only you had money to buy food and a cookbook.

Just keep one thing in mind, Ms. Crocker thinks you something of a rube.  You totally don't need to measure or need to use all these ingredients.  That's for the elite in this world, like people that keep milk in their fridge at all times.  All you need is the following:

Yes, the box of Malbec is crucial to the mixture.

All you got to do is cook the pasta and then throw all these ingredients together in a dish.  No point in taking photos of each step.  However, I will highlight my favorite part of making this meal.  It might seem childish, but anytime I can grate cheese is a win in my book.  Just snag some cheese that "doesn't make the dish" aka eat some of the grated cheese and put the rest into the casserole.

Just throw that sucker in the oven for 350° just like you do every other thing you bake and wait until you can't wait any longer.  Personally, I'd get out ye ole computer and put on ye ole Hulu and watch an episode of The Only Way is Essex (England's delightful version of The Hills) with a glass of wine in your favorite new slipper boots to pass the time.

And before you know it, the delicious tuna casserole is done!  Take a heaping scoop, plop it on a plate, and enjoy!  Then come back 7 minutes later and get seconds.
